Job summary

Computer Sweden Recruitment is looking for a Data Governance Lead to drive the enterprise data governance agenda globally. This role involves leading governance strategy and implementing policies that support data management and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in data governance and must be able to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders to integrate governance into daily operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience leading data governance, information governance, or data risk and compliance initiatives.
• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, information controls, and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Skanska’s data governance strategy, operating model, and roadmap.
• Implement governance policies covering data ownership, classification, access, retention, and lifecycle management.
• Identify and prioritise critical data assets and ensure governance practices support information security and operational resilience.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, cybersecurity, legal, privacy, risk, and business functions.
