Job summary

MSF Sweden is seeking a Data Governance Manager to lead and coordinate data governance initiatives across the organization. You will define standards, policies, and processes for trusted data, while fostering collaboration between business and technical teams to ensure data quality and regulatory compliance.

The role focuses on data cataloguing, data stewardship, and master data management, with responsibility for data security and lifecycle management in a humanitarian context.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data governance or related roles.
• Experience with data governance frameworks and policies.
• Ability to engage with stakeholders across functions.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Strong technical understanding of data tools (SQL, ETL, DW).
• GDPR knowledge and data security awareness.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate data governance initiatives across the organization.
