Job summary

Karo Healthcare in Stockholm seeks a Data Governance Lead to establish and scale our enterprise governance from the ground up. You will own data ownership, stewardship and policy across international units, collaborating with commercial, IT and analytics teams.

As a hands-on leader, you will select and implement governance platforms (Purview, Databricks Unity Catalog, Collibra), define metrics for data quality and governance maturity, and evangelize a value-led data culture across markets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building, scaling and operationalising an enterprise-wide Data Governance programme.
• Strong experience in FMCG, consumer goods, retail healthcare or a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of commercial sales, supply chain and master data management.
• Knowledge of modern data platforms and governance tools (Purview, Unity Catalog, Collibra).

Responsibilities

• Design, launch and drive adoption of Karo’s enterprise Data Governance framework.
• Lead evaluation and implementation of governance platforms (Purview, Databricks Unity Catalog, Collibra).
• Establish clear data ownership, stewardship and roles across international units.
• Turn governance principles into practical business processes with measurable value.
• Lead cross-functional forums to drive data definition consistency across markets.
• Build engagement and accountability around data ownership.
• Develop metrics for data quality and governance maturity.
• Champion a pragmatic, value-led data culture across the organization.
