Job summary

Sysmex Astrego AB, based in Uppsala, Sweden, is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Operations/Engineering to lead production automation, scale‑up, and implementation of new equipment and technologies. You will drive projects from concept to implementation, ensuring robust, cost‑effective manufacturing processes for global growth.

You will collaborate with Production, Engineering, QA/RA, Supply Chain, R&D and external partners, delivering on schedules and budgets while maintaining regulatory

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering or similar field.
• Extensive PM experience in Operations, Engineering or Manufacturing.
• Experience in regulated industries (IVD, MedTech, Pharma) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and operations projects from concept through implementation.
• Build plans, budgets, timelines, and deliverables with PMO methods.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Production, Engineering, QA/RA, Supply Chain, R&D.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, GMP, and quality requirements.
• Drive automation, scale-up and process improvements to boost capacity.
