Sysmex Astrego AB, based in Ultuna, Uppsala, Sweden, seeks a Senior Project Manager – Operations/Engineering to drive high‑impact manufacturing initiatives. Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Biotechnology, or similar.
• Extensive project‑management experience in Operations, Engineering, or Manufacturing, preferably in regulated industries.
• Proven track record of leading automation, scale‑up, and process optimization projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and Operations projects from concept through implementation, ensuring efficient and sustainable production processes.
• Build and maintain project plans, budgets, timelines, and deliverables using established project-management methodologies.
• Drive and coordinate cross-functional teams across Production, Engineering, QA/RA, Supply Chain, R&D, and external partners.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, GMP, and other relevant regulatory and quality requirements.
• Lead automation initiatives, scale-up activities, and process-improvement efforts to increase capacity and robustness.
• Identify and mitigate project risks; report progress, issues, and decisions to management and steering committees.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project models, governance, and tools.
• Manage both new production-equipment implementations and lifecycle improvements to support reliable, scalable operations.
