Job summary

Villa Valentina, part of Urban Italian Group, is seeking a General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations with energy, ownership and care. You will drive guest experiences and develop a strong, motivated team on the floor.

You will set standards, coach and support staff, and foster a culture of trust, inclusion and entrepreneurship while working closely with the kitchen to ensure seamless service and profitability.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a General Manager, Restaurant Manager or strong Assistant General Manager.
• Experience leading busy, guest-focused restaurant operations.
• Strong people leadership skills and the ability to develop others.
• Good commercial understanding of sales, costs, labour and profitability.
• Confidence managing standards, performance and daily priorities.
• A hands‑on leadership style and strong presence on the floor.
• Passion for hospitality, team culture and delivering great guest experiences.

• Leading the daily restaurant operation and ensuring a smooth, high-quality service.
• Creating a warm, memorable guest experience in line with Villa Valentina standards.
• Coaching, supporting and developing the management and front-of-house team.
• Driving sales, profitability, labour control and operational performance.

• Maintaining high standards in cleanliness, compliance, presentation and team behaviour.

The Role

As a General Manager, you will lead the restaurant with energy, ownership and care. You will be responsible for the daily performance of the business, the guest experience, and the development of a strong, motivated team.
