Job summary

Villa Valentina in Stockholm is seeking a Head Waiter to lead the guest experience on the floor, while delivering warm, attentive service.

You will coordinate sections, support the team during service, greet guests, take orders and share recommendations, ensuring smooth communication with the kitchen. A strong, hands-on leader with a calm approach and a passion for hospitality will thrive in our fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Head Waiter or Senior Waiter.
• Confident leading and supporting a team during busy service.

The Role

As a Head Waiter, you will play a key role in leading the guest experience on the floor. Alongside delivering great service yourself, you will help coordinate the team during shifts, maintain service standards and make sure every guest feels looked after from arrival to departure.

What you'll be doing

• Leading by example and delivering warm, confident and attentive service.
• Supporting the team on the floor and helping coordinate sections during service.
• Making sure service standards are consistently followed throughout the shift.
• Welcoming guests, taking orders and sharing food and drink recommendations.
• Keeping an eye on the overall guest experience and stepping in when support is needed.
• Helping the team stay organised, motivated and focused during busy service.
• Supporting the training and development of new and existing team members.
• Working closely with the management and kitchen teams to ensure smooth communication and service.
• Helping maintain a clean, organised and service-ready restaurant.

You’ll thrive in this role if you

• Previous experience as a Head Waiter, Senior Waiter or in a similar restaurant role.

• A warm, engaging and professional approach with guests.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
