Job summary

Saab is seeking a Future Business Model Lead to shape the group’s digital strategy and accelerate new business models across Saab’s portfolio. You will drive testing and evolution of subscription/SaaS/PaaS models with selected Business Units and support Group Functions in scaling adoption.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience, including a minimum of 4 years driving digital transformation including business model transformation.
• Proven experience in designing, implementing and evolving business models to enable continuous value delivery (e.g. subscription based models, SaaS and PaaS models).
• Industry experience in engineered products and/or the defense sector is highly desirable.
• Strong ability to architect and align transformation roadmaps that tie into the overarching company strategy with a software-enabled product portfolio.
• Skilled in workshop facilitation and managing cross-functional teams towards common objectives with clear outcomes.
• Adept at identifying capability gaps, prioritisation logic, and transformation governance models.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead a senior cross-Saab team at the group level to evolve the business model and share learnings broadly in Saab.
• Drive and support transformation activities to accelerate Saab’s journey towards software-defined products.
• Interface with Saab’s customers to co-create and implement new business models.
• Shape and oversee transformation activities in Sales, Finance, and Legal to scale adoption.
• Collaborate with leadership, engineering, product and commercial teams to align roadmaps with company strategy.
