Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Senior Development Lead to drive end-to-end technical development with a focus on frontend technologies. You will oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable applications, and work closely with the Product Owner to align strategy with business needs.

You will champion modern engineering practices, including AI, CI/CD, and test automation, while ensuring compliance with security policies and industry standards across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years in software development and operations.
• 2–5 years in software development within airline loyalty programs or similar domains.
• Strong knowledge of the airline industry and airline technology.
• Experience in a senior development lead or mentoring role.
• Strong coding skills and knowledge of modern development tools and practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technical development with a focus on frontend technologies.
• Oversee design, implementation, and optimization of robust, scalable applications.
• Define and maintain a long-term vision and roadmap for applications within the technology stack.
• Align application strategy with business objectives with Product Owner.
• Drive adoption of modern engineering practices including AI, CI/CD, and test automation.
• Ensure applications comply with regulations and security policies.
• Champion cybersecurity practices throughout the lifecycle.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience of critical systems.
• Improve performance monitoring, observability, and alerting.
• Hands-on development to support teams with complex challenges.
• Promote modular, maintainable, reusable code for efficiency.
• Foster continuous learning and collaboration across teams.
