Job summary

Collective Minds, based in Stockholm/Danderyd, seeks a hands-on Financial Controller to own accounting, month-end close, reporting and compliance across the group. You will drive automation, build scalable processes and partner with the organization to support international growth.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in finance, accounting or financial controlling.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field, or equivalent qualifications.
• Solid experience in financial accounting, month-end closing and financial reporting.
• Good understanding of financial controls, compliance and financial processes.
• An interest in process improvements, automation and AI-powered tools.
• Strong analytical, communication and collaboration skills.
• Hands-on mindset with the ability to work independently and take ownership.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Swedish is an advantage.
• Experience from a start-up, scale-up or SaaS environment is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial accounting, month-end closing, statutory reporting, tax compliance and regulatory requirements across the group.
• Oversee the end-to-end order-to-cash process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Monitor and analyze revenue, cash flow and key financial KPIs.
• Maintain strong financial controls, coordinate external audits and improve reporting processes.
• Support payroll processes and financial reporting related to external funding partnerships.
• Drive improvements in financial systems and processes, with a focus on automation, AI and scalability.
• Act as a financial partner to the organization, providing guidance and ensuring compliance.
