Job description

Job Purpose

This role is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, operational finance support, business case ownership, and leadership support at the plant level, ensuring fiscal discipline and financial decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities

• Budget, Business Plan & Forecast Ownership – leads and oversees the monthly forecast process, ensures accurate and aligned financial outlooks, supports annual budget and business plan preparation.
• Operational Finance Support – analyzes business trends affecting performance, provides cost accounting oversight, oversees engineering financial reporting, optimizes processes and systems.
• Business Case Ownership & Investment Evaluation – owns the new business case lifecycle, leads data collection, assumption validation, financial modelling, provides visibility for commitments, returns, and risks.
• Leadership & Team Support – supports business leaders with financial guidance, creates a culture of financial awareness, develops finance team alignment with PHINIA Business Operating Model, ensures succession planning.

Education & Experience

• Degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum of eight years’ experience with increasing responsibility.
• Manufacturing accounting experience required.
• CPA or CMA (or equivalent) preferred.
• Prior experience with Monitor and/or OneStream.
• Knowledge of US GAAP preferred.
