About the role
We’re looking for a Finance & Operations Associate to own Atlar’s day-to-day financial operations across our Swedish and UK entities, while also supporting operational and contract-related workflows. You’ll be a key part of ensuring our financial processes are accurate, compliant, and scalable as we grow internationally.
This is a finance-first role with broad responsibility – spanning accounting coordination, reporting, payments, and financial controls – alongside structured involvement in customer contracts and operational risk topics using defined guidelines.
What You’ll Do
- Own and manage day-to-day financial operations across Atlar’s Swedish and UK entities
- Coordinate accounting, reporting, and payroll in collaboration with external accounting firms
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including billing accuracy, cost allocation, and payment approvals
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Lead preparation and review of annual reports, audits, and statutory filings together with external accountants and auditors
- Consolidate and analyze financial results, providing insights to management and supporting cost control
- Continuously refine internal finance processes and controls to support scale and international growth
What you need
- Solid foundation in finance, accounting, or financial operations
- Experience owning or supporting core finance processes end-to-end
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working with external advisors
- Ability to apply structured guidelines and exercise sound judgment
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment
Nice-to-Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or similar
- Experience working with multiple legal entities or international structures
- Startup or scale-up experience
