Job summary

Excillum AB is seeking a Field Service Engineer based in China to install, train and service our X-ray systems across China, Korea, Japan and Taiwan. The role requires frequent travel and a hands-on approach, collaborating with global teams to ensure high uptime and customer satisfaction.

You will begin with onboarding at Stockholm HQ, pursue remote support, and engage with OEM partners. Mandarin fluency is required, and residence permit for China is needed.

Qualifications

• BSc in engineering, physics or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Several years' Field Service experience in high-tech industries.
• Experience with European and Asian customer cultures.
• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese; Korean a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install Excillum MetalJet and Nanotube systems at customer sites.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance in the field.
• Provide technical training at customer sites and at Stockholm HQ.
• Handle remote support via email, chat, and phone; document in CRM.
• Manage RMA, warranty cases and spare parts orders.
• Lead quarterly service review meetings with Asian OEM partners.
