Job summary

DHL Sverige söker en Facility Manager som övervakar drift och underhåll av våra fastigheter från Västberga i Stockholm, med regelbunden resa till DHL-anläggningar över Sverige.

Du leder byggsystem, serviceleverantörer, budgetar, säkerhet och miljöarbete, samt följer upp nytta och prestanda via KPIer. Rollen kräver relevant erfarenhet, god kommunikation och samarbete med interna och externa parter.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 5+ years of facilities, property management, or real estate experience.
• Knowledge of building systems, maintenance, and contractor management.
• Experience with budget management and cost control.
• Understanding of health, safety and environmental standards.
• REM system experience (Planon) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily facility operations across Sweden, including building systems and maintenance.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, and service teams for high-quality delivery.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and internal policies.
• Prepare and monitor facility budgets; identify savings opportunities.
• Monitor KPIs and SLAs to ensure efficient facility management.
• Coordinate renovations and facility improvement projects.
• Optimize workspace utilization to meet changing needs.
• Maintain accurate facility records and generate reports.
• Collaborate with landlords, internal stakeholders and external providers.
• Guide Facility Management Coordinators and technicians as needed.
• Coordinate responses to facility-related emergencies.

Job Purpose:

As a Facility Manager, you will ensure the smooth and efficient operation of facilities across your assigned area in Sweden. You will oversee building maintenance, technical systems, service providers, budgets, and health and safety requirements to ensure our facilities meet business needs and DHL standards.

Your tasks:

• Manage daily facility operations, including building systems, maintenance, and technical services.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, and maintenance teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, internal policies, and environmental standards.
• Support the preparation and monitoring of facility budgets, control costs, and identify savings opportunities.
• Monitor service performance, KPIs, and SLAs to ensure efficient facility management.
• Coordinate maintenance activities, renovations, and facility improvement projects.
• Optimize workspace utilization and support changing business needs.
• Maintain accurate facility records and provide regular reports on operations, costs, and projects.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, landlords, and external service providers to resolve issues and improve services.
• Support and guide Facility Management Coordinators, Technicians, and service providers.
• Coordinate responses to facility-related emergencies when required.

Your profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• More than five years of relevant experience in facilities management, property management, or real estate, preferably in a warehouse, logistics, or business office environment.
• Practical knowledge of building systems, maintenance, contractor management, and facility operations.
• Experience in budget management, cost control, and service contract management.
• Understanding of health and safety requirements, risk assessments, and environmental standards.
• Experience with a Real Estate Management (REM) system, preferably Planon, is considered an advantage.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative and customer-focused approach.
• A proactive mindset and an interest in continuous improvement and sustainable facility management.
• Business-level English is required; business-level Swedish is highly desirable.
• A valid driver's license is considered an advantage due to travel between sites.
