Job description

Do you want a front-row seat to how a business is led?

As Executive Advisor to our EVP B2C, you'll work at the centre of GlobalConnect's Swedish B2C business. Working closely with the EVP and the B2C Sweden Leadership Team, you'll help shape priorities, prepare key decisions, and make sure they are translated into action across the organisation.

This is a role for someone early in their career who wants to learn quickly, take real responsibility, and build a broad understanding of how a business is run.

If you're looking for a role where you'll have genuine influence from day one, work alongside experienced leaders, and develop faster than in a traditional career path, we'd like to hear from you.

To succeed in this role, you likely have

  • 2–4 years of experience from management consulting, strategy, business operations, an Executive Office, or another environment where you've solved complex business problems and worked closely with senior stakeholders.

  • A degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Communication, or another relevant field.

  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, experienced in Excel with the ability to turn complex information into clear recommendations.

  • Excellent PowerPoint and storytelling skills, with experience creating presentations and decision material for senior audiences.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Swedish and English.

About the role

You'll join the PMO and Executive Office team, working closely with our EVP B2C and the B2C Sweden Leadership Team—a group of experienced leaders from across the business that have work together for several years. There is a good team dynamic and collaboration, with open communication across the board, in an environment that rewards initiatives.

As Executive Advisor, you'll become a trusted partner to both the EVP and the leadership team. You'll be working on topics that span commercial performance, organisational development, customer experience, and leadership priorities.

No two days are the same. One week you might help prepare a board discussion or facilitate a leadership workshop. The next, you could be driving a cross-functional initiative, coordinating stakeholders across the business, or helping shape how an important change is introduced to create lasting impact.

The common denominator is simple: you'll work where important decisions are made—and help ensure they turn into results.

What you'll be working on

  • Partner with the EVP and the B2C Sweden Leadership Team, helping set, facilitate and follow up on the leadership agenda while ensuring priorities are translated into action across the organisation.

  • Turn complex business topics into clear, decision-ready material for board meetings, leadership forums and executive discussions, coordinating senior stakeholder input along the way.

  • Drive projects and processes from start to finish by creating structure, coordinating the right people, following up on actions, and ensuring ideas become tangible outcomes.

  • Track how the organisation is absorbing change, including workload, capacity and readiness, and use those insights to help shape how initiatives are prioritised, communicated and implemented.

  • Improve ways of working within the PMO and Executive Office by bringing structure, clarity and efficiency to leadership processes.

  • Coordinate executive planning, calendar, meetings and travel, ensuring the EVP is well prepared and able to focus on the highest-value priorities.

Who we're looking for

You're curious, analytical and enjoy solving complex business problems—but you don't stop when the presentation is finished. You're a pragmatic problem solver who can take action who enjoys making things happen.

You're as comfortable structuring a board discussion as you are picking up the practical task that makes it happen. No task is too big or too small if it helps move the business forward.

You build trust easily, navigate organisations with confidence, and quickly understand who needs to be involved to create progress. You're comfortable working with people at all levels, facilitating discussions, coordinating across functions, and independently driving your own work from idea to delivery.

Although you're still early in your career, you operate with maturity, sound judgement and professionalism beyond your years. You take ownership, adapt when priorities change, and consistently deliver work you can be proud of.

Why join GlobalConnect?

Few roles offer this combination of responsibility, visibility and development so early in your career.

You'll work side by side with senior leaders, gain insight into how a large business is led, and contribute to decisions that shape one of GlobalConnect's most important business areas. Along the way, you'll build experience and capabilities that will stay with you throughout your career.

GlobalConnect is a company on the move. With high ambition and courage and where people and ideas have room to grow and changes is welcomed and embraced. I you want to work in telco, you want to work at GC.
