Job summary

Lovable is seeking a Corporate Development lead to build and scale its M&A and strategic investment function, working closely with Europe’s top startups and Lovable's senior leaders. You will evaluate, execute, and integrate acquisitions and investments that accelerate the company roadmap.

You should bring 15+ years across VC/growth equity/investment banking and corporate development, with a track record of closing complex deals and strong relationships with founders and executives across Europe.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience across VC / growth equity / investment banking and corporate development.
• At least 5 years operating at a senior level inside high-growth technology companies.
• Demonstrated success leading and closing multiple M&A transactions end-to-end, including deal structuring, negotiation, and post-close integration.
• A strong personal network across the European startup, VC, and tech ecosystem, with credibility to open doors at founder and C-suite level.
• Excellent cross-functional leadership skills — align legal, finance, product, and executives around complex deals.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal, with experience presenting to boards or senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve Lovable's Corp Dev strategy, advising senior leadership on where M&A and investments fit into the roadmap.
• Build and lead the sourcing engine for new deal opportunities with bankers, VCs, and intermediaries.
• Build, lead, and scale Lovable's M&A process and cross-functional team supporting it.
• Lead founder conversations at the senior level, translating insights into actionable strategic recommendations.
• Represent Lovable at key industry events, strengthening our ecosystem and brand among European founders.
