Job summary

Tandem Health AB is seeking a Payroll & People Operations Specialist to own end‑to‑end payroll across European markets, including Sweden. You will collaborate with Finance and People to ensure accurate, compliant payroll and scalable processes, while also contributing to broader employee lifecycle initiatives.

The role blends hands‑on payroll execution with process improvement and operational readiness for a fast‑growing health‑tech company.

Qualifications

• 2‑3 years of payroll experience across multiple countries.
• Experience running payroll in at least one non-Nordic market (UK, Germany, France).
• Strong understanding of payroll processes, reporting and reconciliations.
• Comfort with payroll and HR systems, and EOR platforms.
• Detail‑oriented with thorough double‑checking and accuracy.
• Ability to collaborate across Finance, People and external providers.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll across multiple European entities, including Sweden.
• Review, reconcile and quality-check payroll inputs and outputs.
• Ensure compliance with local tax, pension, benefits and statutory requirements.
• Lead year-end payroll processes, reporting and audits.
• Partner with Finance and People to ensure accurate payroll data and reporting.
• Build and improve payroll processes toward scalable workflows.
• Own operational parts of the employee lifecycle (onboarding, changes, offboarding).
• Manage onboarding/offboarding across payroll, benefits and systems.
