As an Environmental Specialist, you will combine your knowledge of chemicals with strong communication and coordination skills to support Scania's environmental work. You will ensure that chemical information is accurate, up to date and compliant, while making environmental information accessible and relevant for colleagues across the organisation.
Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will manage chemical information, support users, coordinate environmental initiatives and contribute to the continuous development of our processes and ways of working. You will also play an important role in communicating environmental information through our internal channels, helping colleagues find and understand the information they need.
Please note that this role is temporary and is expected to remain in place until 31/08/2027
To succeed in this role, you have a genuine interest in chemistry and environmental issues, together with experience of administrative work where accuracy and structure are essential. You are comfortable managing information, keeping track of details and ensuring that data is reliable and up to date.
You also enjoy communicating and presenting information in a way that is clear, relevant and easy to understand for different audiences. Whether you are maintaining chemical information, publishing content or supporting colleagues, you understand the value of high‑quality information and good collaboration.

You will be part of Scania's Group Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) organisation and join the Group Environment team, consisting of eight colleagues.
