Job summary

Your role

As Enterprise Content & Knowledge Lead, you will define and drive how Saab manages, shares and leverages content, knowledge and collaboration across the enterprise, improving the organisation's ability to find, understand and reuse information across business areas, functions and geographical boundaries.

As Saab continues to digitalise its operations, content is increasingly becoming a strategic asset, not only for people to read and collaborate on, but also for AI, analytics, knowledge discovery and decision‑making. The value of information depends on how effectively it can be found, understood, trusted and reused across the organisation.

You will lead the evolution from a traditional document-centric approach to a knowledge-centric approach, where content is structured, connected and governed so that it can be efficiently used by both people and intelligent systems.

A key aspect of the role is establishing common approaches to content, knowledge management and collaboration across Saab's global and decentralised organisation. You will work across business areas, functions, countries and cultures to create enterprise-wide alignment while balancing local needs, regulatory requirements and operational realities.

You will serve as a central coordinator and change leader, bringing together stakeholders, initiatives and business needs to create a coherent and sustainable operating model for content, knowledge and collaboration across Saab.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Define and drive Saab's enterprise strategy, business priorities and governance for content, knowledge management and collaboration.
• Lead the transition from document-centric information management to knowledge-driven ways of working, ensuring content supports collaboration, analytics, automation and AI.
• Establish governance models, operating forums and communities of practice that improve the quality, findability, trust and reuse of content and knowledge across the enterprise, leveraging enterprise metadata, taxonomy and semantic standards.
• Improve the organisation's ability to find, understand and reuse information and knowledge across business areas, functions and geographical boundaries.
• Align stakeholders, initiatives and business needs to establish common operating models and sustainable ways of working across Saab's global and decentralised organisation.
• Define and monitor measurable outcomes related to adoption, knowledge reuse, collaboration effectiveness and business value.
• Partner with technology and solution teams to shape business requirements and priorities, while acting as the business owner rather than the technical owner.

You will be part of the Group Function Information Management, within the COO organisation, reporting to the Head of Information Management. The function consists of enterprise-level thought leaders responsible for driving transformation across a large and complex organisation by aligning leaders, building commitment and enabling the business to deliver change at scale.

Your profile

You are a strategic leader with a strong understanding of content, knowledge and information management. You are motivated by helping a complex global organisation find, share and reuse knowledge more effectively, creating business value through improved collaboration, decision-making, analytics and AI enablement.

You are comfortable driving change across organisational boundaries and building alignment in a federated environment where success depends more on influence, collaboration and shared goals than on direct authority. You translate strategic ambitions into practical governance, operating models and sustainable ways of working.

We are looking for someone who:

• Demonstrates strong leadership and influencing skills, with a proven ability to create alignment, governance and shared ways of working across a global, decentralised organisation.
• Has experience defining and implementing enterprise-wide content management, knowledge management, collaboration or information management strategies in complex international environments.
• Has successfully driven adoption of common ways of working across business units, functions, countries and cultures while balancing enterprise standards with local business needs.
• Understands how content can be structured and governed to support knowledge discovery, analytics, automation and AI capabilities.
• Combines strategic thinking with hands‑on execution, turning business needs into practical frameworks, governance and sustainable ways of working.
• Takes initiative, drives work independently and establishes structure where it does not yet exist.
• Is collaborative, pragmatic and grounded, building trust, strong relationships and effective collaboration across organisational, geographical and cultural boundaries.
• Brings experience from content management, information management, digital workplace, knowledge management or related disciplines.

It is considered an advantage if you have:

• Experience working with Microsoft 365.
• Experience with OpenText or other enterprise content management platforms.
• Experience establishing governance structures, operating models or information management frameworks.
• Experience working with knowledge management, AI enablement, enterprise search, information architecture or information discovery.
• Experience from large, complex organisations, preferably within highly regulated industries such as defence.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
