Job summary

SAAB is seeking an Information/Configuration Manager to govern how information is used within SAAB Surveillance. You will join a team of Configuration Managers, and work strategically and operatively with configuration management across the information landscape.

In an evolving cybersecurity environment, you will lead in keeping information efficient and secure while handling configuration and document management. The exact split between domains will adapt to organization needs.

• Assist to analyze data and organize it across various categories and tools.
• Operatively support and lead project management with configuration management knowledge.
• Lead and control change management process is being followed correctly.
• Collaborate with IT, Quality and Operational Business.

As an Information/Configuration Manager you will govern how information shall be used within SAAB Surveillance. You will be part of a team of Configuration Managers, and also work both strategically and operatively with configuration management. You will work closely connected to other units within SAAB developing and securing our information och configuration landscape.

Your role

In an evolving cybersecurity environment we at SAAB are strengthening our position in the Information Domain. We are now looking for an Information Manager to lead in keeping our usage of information efficient and secure.

We are also facing a more complex and challenging situation for configuration and document handling, so your responsibilities will also include configuration management. The exact split between the different domains will not be detailed depending on the organization’s needs.

Among other tasks you shall be responsible for:

• Participate in development / governance of the SAAB information landscape.
• In dialog with information owners and source system managers secure that the information is handled according to requirements
• Collect and evaluate business and information requirements within SAAB Surveillance
• In cooperation with process owners define and structure the usage of information
• Assist to analyze data and organize it across various categories and tools

Your profile

As a candidate for this position, you have to have the ability to work independent, take on great responsibility and have excellent communication skills.

The successful candidate has experience/competence of:

• Information systems development and governance
• Master data and meta data definition
• Established and emerging data technologies
• Ability to see the "big picture" in a complex information landscape
• Structured way of working
• Proven social and communication skills
• Fluent in Swedish and English
• Strong Business Acumen

Additionally, if you have five years of experience working in a similar role within Information Management or Configuration Management, your profile will be particularly interesting to us. While this experience is considered a strong advantage, it is not a requirement.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
