Job summary

Axis Communications in Lund seeks an Engineering Manager – Tech Test to lead the Tech Test team and ensure quality remains central to Axis products. You will work with QA managers across Axis, guiding the group and shaping testing strategies in a global context.

The role reports to the Director of Video Product Test within Quality Assurance and involves on-site leadership, collaboration across R&D, and growing a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• A technical MSc or BSc degree or equivalent.
• Experience in technical leadership roles, with a track record of leading and developing people.
• Relevant test experience from previous assignments.
• Fluent in English and Swedish, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team of 11 test engineers in their daily activities, ensuring everyone can contribute at their best and receive support.
• Run day-to-day operations with the right strategy, competence, test processes and tools.
• Collaborate with counterparts across the R&D organization and stay aligned with project plans and resource needs.
• Develop your team, balancing company needs with individual development.
• Handle salary setting, budgeting and recruitment.
