Job summary

Axis Communications in Lund is seeking an Engineering Manager for Tech Test to lead the 11‑engineer Tech Test team within our Video Product Test department, guiding quality and practice across projects. You will manage day‑to‑day operations, strategies, and cross‑team coordination to maintain high testing standards.

Reporting to the Director of Video Product Test, you will mentor engineers, influence project plans, and oversee salary decisions, budgeting and recruitment to grow a skilled QA

Qualifications

• Leading and developing people with a proven track record.
• Relevant test experience from previous assignments.
• Fluency in English and Swedish, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Tech Test team and its 11 engineers, ensuring everyone can contribute at their best.
• Run day-to-day operations with the right strategy, processes and tools.
• Collaborate with QA managers across Axis to share knowledge and coordinate efforts.
• Develop the team, balancing company and individual needs and handling salary, budgeting and recruitment.
