Job summary

Volvo Car Retail Solutions seeks an Engineering Manager to lead one or more VCRS teams. You will empower your engineers, mentor them, and champion modern, agile software development practices. You will ensure scalable, sustainable solutions and collaborate with other engineering leaders to foster continuous improvement.

The role emphasizes API‑driven design, strong architectural sense, and strong people leadership in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

Experience leading engineering teams.
Strong architecture knowledge in API‑driven design.
Background in SW Engineering with Java/.NET.
Familiar with Agile, Microservices, Security, and Test‑Driven Development (TDD).
Fluent in Swedish (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

Lead and grow a team of engineers, providing mentorship and support.
Advocate for modern, agile software development practices within Product teams.
Ensure scalable, sustainable, and architecturally sound solutions.
Collaborate with other engineering leaders to drive excellence and continuous improvement.
