Job summary

Volvo Group is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to shape and modernize infrastructure services that support critical solutions across engineering, manufacturing and more. You will work with internal teams, stakeholders and partners to deliver secure, scalable, and cost-efficient infrastructure for vehicle software.

You will lead initiatives driving modernization, automation and continuous improvement while mentoring others and aligning technology with business goals.

Qualifications

• Experienced infrastructure professional with strong technical expertise.
• Ability to connect technology with business value across tactical and strategic levels.
• Meritorious: experience with hybrid/cloud/on-prem infrastructure and automation.

Responsibilities

• Define infrastructure strategies, target architectures and roadmaps.
• Design, modernize and improve infrastructure solutions for vehicle software landscape.
• Drive migrations, upgrades and debt reduction.
• Ensure high availability, security, scalability and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with suppliers and service providers for quality delivery.
• Partner with architects, product teams and stakeholders to align tech with business needs.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Act as a technical leader, mentor and trusted expert.
