Job summary

Horse Powertrain, via Aurobay Technologies Sweden, seeks an Engineering Manager to lead Diagnostic CORE and Dependability in embedded powertrain software. You will provide technical and delivery leadership, guide ICE software teams, and shape the strategy for system safety with ISO26262.

This role blends people leadership with hands-on engineering, coordinating cross-functional work across software, calibration and testing to ensure timely, high-quality delivery in a challenging embedded

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in embedded software, diagnostics or safety domains.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Understanding of software, controls, calibration and testing interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams working on Diagnostic Fault Manager and ICE safety development.
• Provide technical and delivery leadership for the embedded software programs.
• Ensure engineering quality with clear priorities, risk handling and follow-up.
• Represent the area in cross-functional forums and remove obstacles to execution.
