Engineering Manager Diagnostic CORE and System Safety

This role is employed by Aurobay Technologies, Sweden, a division of Horse Powertrain Limited and is based in Sweden. We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead Diagnostic CORE and Dependability (System Safety), a technically central area within embedded powertrain software. This role combines engineering ownership, technical direction, delivery responsibility and people leadership across diagnostic fault management and ICE system safety development.

This role is for someone who wants to lead both people and technology in a deep embedded software domain. You will guide engineers working with ICE applications, while helping the organization through its next development phase.

Skills and Experience

Education/experience background:

• Proven engineering leadership in embedded software, diagnostics, controls, system safety (ISO26262) or comparable domains.
• A collaborative leadership style with strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Understanding of automotive diagnostics, fault management, dependability or functional safety.
• Ability to create clarity across software, systems, calibration, test and project interfaces.
