Job summary

Siemens Energy AB is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design customer‑specific electrical solutions for gas turbine projects. You will work with low‑voltage systems, including start motors, batteries, frequency converters and switch gears, ensuring designs meet customer requirements and are well documented.

You will collaborate with assembly, site teams and subcontractors, attending workshops to support project execution from design through completion.

Qualifications

• Education in electrical engineering is required.
• Several years of experience in the field.
• Experience with power generation products is valued.
• Experience with COMOS and SAP is useful.
• Strong English communication skills are essential.

Job description

A snapshot of your day: Electrical engineering responsibilities include creating customer‑specific electrical designs, drafting all documentation for projects in the medium gas turbine segment. You will work within the low‑voltage team, designing equipment such as start motors, batteries, frequency converters and switch gears, ensuring all customer requirements are met in design and documentation.

You will act as support for both assembly and site, working with subcontractors, purchasing and the sales organization. Your role includes attending workshops to support projects through the complete assembly.

What You Bring

• Relevant education within electrical engineering and several years of experience in the field.
