Job summary

Axis Communications is seeking a Software Engineer to work on Edge Video Analytics. Join a small, agile team developing machine learning‑based analytics for Axis’ advanced video products, including explosion‑protected, thermal and multi‑directional cameras.

You will build ML solutions in Python, C, and C++ on Linux, collect and refine data, train models, and optimize camera applications while collaborating with engineers across Axis.

Qualifications

• University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience with Python, C, and/or C++ programming in a Linux environment.
• Experience or strong interest in algorithm development and deep learning / machine learning.

Responsibilities

• Build functional, reliable, and high‑quality machine learning solutions.
• Collect and refine data, train models, and develop camera applications.
• Ensure optimal performance of these applications.
• Incorporate user experience and data‑driven approaches into all development activities.
• Collaborate and communicate with engineers from other Axis teams.
