As we continue to scale our e-commerce business globally, we are looking for an Ecommerce Analyst to join our Digital team.
This role sits within the Digital team and reports directly to the Chief Digital Officer to support digital analysis across our digital head functions.
Working closely with teams across Ecommerce, Marketing, Finance, and Operations, you will help us understand what's driving performance across our ecommerce business and identify growth opportunities.
You will be responsible for ensuring the business has the insights, reporting, and data quality needed to make informed decisions.
Whether it's breaking down campaign results, investigating changes in conversion rate, forecasting future performance, or identifying opportunities to improve the customer journey, you will play a key role in helping the team make better decisions and move faster.
Own the accuracy and consistency of our ecommerce data, ensuring GA4, on-site tracking, and Shopify data can be trusted.
Partner with the Finance and Operations teams, who own the commercial and transactional data foundation (including Business Central), so that ecommerce reporting ties back to a single, agreed source of truth.
Build and maintain the reports and dashboards the team relies on, ensuring key metrics are clearly defined and consistently measured.
Investigate and resolve tracking discrepancies across key platforms.
Utilize tools such as Claude and other modern technologies to improve analysis, reporting, and decision-making.
Monitor and analyze ecommerce performance across key metrics such as traffic, conversion rate, revenue, average order value, customer behavior, and retention.
Identify trends, opportunities, and performance drivers across markets, categories, products, and customer segments.
Investigate unexpected changes in performance and identify root causes.
Translate data into actionable recommendations that support business growth and improve customer experience.
Present findings and recommendations in a clear and actionable way.
Analyze campaign, category, product, and market performance to identify growth opportunities.
Support forecasting, promotional planning, and commercial decision-making through data-driven insights.
Evaluate promotional activities and provide recommendations to improve future performance.
Deliver post-campaign analysis, highlight key learnings and opportunities, and share results with the Marketing team.
Monitor customer behavior throughout the purchase journey, including conversion trends and cart abandonment performance.
Monitor and report on organic search performance.
Identify opportunities and measure the impact of SEO efforts.
Support Product and Development teams by providing data, analysis, and insights for experimentation and optimization initiatives.
Evaluate the impact of A/B tests and changes.
3+ years of experience in Ecommerce Analytics, Digital Analytics, Business Intelligence, Marketing Analytics, or a similar analytical role.
Experience working with Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
Experience working within Shopify or a similar ecommerce platform.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into business recommendations.
Experience working with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI.
Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
Comfortable working with large datasets and validating data quality; working knowledge of SQL is a plus.
Experience working with digital marketing platforms and conversion tracking.
Experience working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders and external partners.
Strong communication skills and the ability to present insights in a clear and actionable way.
Comfortable in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
Experience analyzing ecommerce KPIs including conversion rate, customer acquisition, retention, average order value, and revenue performance.
Understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing measurement.
Interest in AI tools and emerging technologies.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Commercial mindset with a passion for ecommerce and customer experience.
Experience supporting experimentation, optimization, or A/B testing initiatives is a plus.
