Qualifications

Job/Position Summary

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance vehicle motion control software for longitudinal vehicle control functions, including acceleration, deceleration, propulsion, energy storage, and braking systems.
Design and implement software for Core System Platform applications and Vehicle Control Units (VCUs) using model-based development and C/C++.
Create and maintain automated test cases and CI/CD pipelines to ensure software quality and reliability.
Perform debugging, testing, integration, and root cause analysis throughout the software development lifecycle.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define requirements, develop solutions, and support system integration activities.
Support software releases by ensuring functionality, performance, and compliance with development standards.
Contribute to continuous improvement of development methods, tools, and software architecture.

Skills & Requirements

Required Skills

3+ years of experience in software development within embedded systems environments.
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related field.
Strong programming experience in C++ and Python.
Experience with Control Engineering and model-based development methodologies (e.g., Simulink).
Hands-on experience with CI/CD and automated software testing.
Experience developing applications using application frameworks and managing application lifecycle and execution contexts.
Knowledge of distributed electrical systems and vehicle electrical/electronic architectures.
Experience with test and diagnostic tools such as Wireshark, CANoe, and CANalyzer.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Ethernet-based communication protocols.
