Electronics Software Developer
You have a passion for development of complex mechatronic systems within vehicle electrification, electronics and embedded systems. You enjoy driving engineering challenges all the way from business case and concept stage to mass production.
You have senior background within Power Electronics field and is a natural initiator that commits to deliver the Team´s deliverables with high precision on quality.
You are a team player that contributes and bring out the best from your fellow team members and work actively to increase your network.
The Motor Controls team is developing the in-house Electric Motor Control Application from the bottom up, where the core functionality of the SW is to realize the requested electric machine torque in the most optimal way given the current operating conditions. Due to the SW being developed from the bottom up in an embedded environment it makes the scope of the team comparatively large as it is currently responsible for the entire chain of development: architectural structure, concept studies, development environment, functionality development, SW verification (unit test, MIL, SIL, HIL and rig/dyno), documentation and requirements review.
The team uses Simulink and code generation for application SW and direct C code for the lower level code needed to the inverter drivers and communication. The way of working includes using Git and Gerrit with short iterations between implementation and feedback from the team. We are looking for the right person to join our development team. In this role as Developer, you will be a part of a fast-paced team that delivers state of the art functionality and calibrations. You will utilize a variety of different SW used for the different parts during the development process as well as having responsibility of all phases of the development; from design and implementation to vehicle testing and fine-tuning of the functionality.
