Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles, including vans, trucks, or other designated vehicles, to deliver goods to customers’ locations in a timely manner.
• Plan delivery routes efficiently to optimize delivery times and minimize fuel consumption.
• Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of items to prevent damage during transit.
• Verify delivery instructions, addresses, and contact information to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, including friendly interactions with customers, timely delivery of goods, and assistance with unloading items if needed.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving and operating company vehicles.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure the safety and reliability of company vehicles.
• Report any vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, or incidents to management promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, quantities delivered, and any issues encountered during delivery.
• Collaborate with dispatchers and other team members to communicate delivery schedules, delays, or changes in route as needed.
