Job summary

RT Logistik AB is seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver in Borås, Sweden. The role focuses on safe vehicle operation, timely deliveries, and excellent customer service, with responsibilities spanning route planning, loading/unloading, and accurate documentation.

The successful candidate will have a valid B license, strong driving skills, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. GPS navigation familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid B category driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Delivery experience preferred.
• Excellent driving skills and safe navigation.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Able to lift heavy items and perform loading/unloading tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route optimization software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles, including vans, trucks, or other designated vehicles, to deliver goods to customers’ locations in a timely manner.
• Plan delivery routes efficiently to optimize delivery times and minimize fuel consumption.
• Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of items to prevent damage during transit.
• Verify delivery instructions, addresses, and contact information to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, including friendly interactions with customers, timely delivery of goods, and assistance with unloading items if needed.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving and operating company vehicles.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure the safety and reliability of company vehicles.
• Report any vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, or incidents to management promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, quantities delivered, and any issues encountered during delivery.
• Collaborate with dispatchers and other team members to communicate delivery schedules, delays, or changes in route as needed.
