Job summary

Gartner Consulting Sweden is seeking a Managing Partner to guide defence sector clients at the highest level, combining strategy, technology and executive leadership. You will own and expand a portfolio of important clients, bringing Gartner’s insights, benchmarking and global expertise to mission‑critical challenges in a hybrid Sweden setting.

You will advise CIOs, CEOs and government leaders, help navigate disruption, and turn technology into measurable growth, resilience and transformation.

Qualifications

• Proven background in a well-regarded consulting firm.
• Strong foundation in technology problem‑solving (architecture, analytics, engineering, or strategy roles).
• Credibility across multiple IT domains, not just one lane.
• Track record of leading teams with a collaboration mindset, influencing executives, delivering outcomes.
• Intellectual curiosity and the confidence to adapt Gartner’s frameworks to client situations.
• Stamina and presence to juggle multiple senior‑level client priorities without losing focus.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise at the highest level with senior executives to define technology strategies enabling growth, efficiency and risk mitigation.
• Lead hands‑on consulting engagements grounded in Gartner insights and translate insights into real action.
• Drive measurable value by modernising platforms, migrating to cloud, unlocking data/AI, and optimising costs and sourcing.
• Expand the account portfolio and drive revenue growth through strategic relationship development and closing new opportunities.
• Lead and develop high‑performing consulting teams that solve complex problems.
