Supermicro is seeking a Datacenter System Engineer to support our Netherlands branch, helping customers in Iceland and beyond. You will handle server hardware issues, offering remote and on-site service, and join a close team dedicated to high-quality support.

The role emphasizes customer satisfaction, multicultural collaboration, and opportunities to broaden IT knowledge through the Supermicro Academy and diverse assignments.

Qualifications

• Completed senior vocational education in IT or equivalent experience.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in 1st and 2nd line IT support.
• Experience in datacenters is a plus.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset with the ability to learn quickly.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.
• Basic knowledge of Windows OS and Linux.
• Basic knowledge of system management (networks, servers, databases).
• Presentable with professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Accept, register and resolve server hardware problems for international customers.
• Provide remote and on-site support and document cases.
• Learn quickly across diverse IT areas and expand technical breadth.
• Contribute to customer satisfaction in a multicultural environment.
• Travel occasionally to service customers as needed.
