Job summary

Us3 Consulting is assisting a globally leading tech client in Solna, Sweden, to hire an experienced Data Engineer who speaks Swedish for a long-term contract.

The role focuses on automating forecasting processes with Python in Databricks, analyzing customer and time-series data, and building Power BI reports, with cross-functional collaboration and a strong emphasis on data quality and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Python or similar programming languages.
• Experience with Big Data, especially customer and time-series data.
• Experience in data manipulation and data modeling.
• Strong experience with Power BI / data visualization.
• Ability to analyze data and clearly communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Experience in the energy sector / electricity grid industry is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Automate forecasting processes using Python in Databricks.

• Build and enhance Power BI reports, including data modeling, new functionality, existing functionality improvements, calculations and reporting.

• Generate quantitative and qualitative insights from forecasting results.
• Prepare and present analysis and reports to stakeholders.
• Collect and consolidate data from multiple sources.
• Perform data quality assurance and ensure reliability of data.

Key Responsibilities

• Automate forecasting processes using Python in Databricks.
• Analyze customer data and time-series data to improve forecasting methodologies.
