Job summary

MPower Plus is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and maintain scalable data pipelines and data platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust data solutions, ensuring data quality and governance across cloud data warehouses.

The role emphasizes hands-on work with PySpark, Apache Airflow, Redshift, and dbt, along with CI/CD practices using GitHub Actions and JFrog. Hybrid Stockholm location and contract terms apply.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, especially in cloud data warehouse environments.
• Hands-on experience with PySpark and Apache Airflow.
• Strong SQL skills and deep understanding of query performance tuning in Redshift.
• Solid understanding of data modeling principles, including dimensional modeling (Kimball), normalized models, and hybrid strategies.
• Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Redshift Console)
• Familiarity with data versioning, CI/CD, and collaborative development practices in dbt.
