Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) is seeking a Data Center Shift Technician to resolve day-to-day work orders and ensure timely completion in a 24/7/365 environment. You will work within the Critical and Technical Services function, maintaining safety, accuracy, and effective client communication.

Responsibilities include logging work, coordinating with contractors, and supporting management processes. The role requires rotating day/night shifts and a strong focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade diploma with 1–2 years of related experience.
• Must meet physical requirements including lifting 50 lbs and climbing stairs/ladders.
• Ability to work a rotating day/night shift including unsociable hours.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an up-to-date log of work completed in the in-house system.
• Ensure contractors and staff comply with safety and security requirements.
• Provide holiday, training and sickness cover for shift team.
• Track and complete Critical Services Preventative Maintenance and provide condition assessments.
