Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Data Center Engineering Operations Technician in Sweden to support mission‑critical data centers. You will assist in electrical, mechanical, HVAC and fire/life safety equipment operation and maintenance to ensure uptime.

Join a diverse team of engineers and facilities professionals, monitor systems, respond to incidents, perform rack installations, and help deploy new equipment while maintaining safety and adherence to SLAs.

Qualifications

• 1 to 4 years of electrical, mechanical and/or controls relevant experience (degree or trade qualification preferred).
• Ability to follow procedures and document issues in a Trouble Ticket system with safe electrical practice.
• Competent in basic IT programs and able to cover a 24x7 shift rotation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in operation and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, HVAC and fire/life safety equipment.
• Monitor Data Center systems, including incidents, changes, monitoring, escalation/resolution.
• Support contractors and data center engineers to ensure proper operation of facility equipment.
• Assist with deploying new equipment and cabling, building racks and related tasks.
• Perform site walk-throughs to verify proper operation of facility equipment.
• Act as Facilities First Responder during critical events and support new facilities.
