Job summary

COWI is seeking an experienced MEP Lead to join our growing data centre group. You will lead the coordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems from concept through design and implementation, ensuring high performance, energy efficiency, and reliable operations.

Work closely with clients, partners, and internal teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions while driving BIM coordination, design quality, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or degree in an engineering field related to building services.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary building services projects.
• Experience with data centres or mission-critical facilities is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate MEP design and advisory services for data centre facilities.
• Act as the MEP Lead throughout project phases from concept development to detailed design and implementation.
• Ensure technical quality, integration, and coordination across mechanical, electrical and plumbing.
• Support project development from early concept stages through design, tender, construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Engage in technical dialogue with customers to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate stakeholders across complex data centre projects.
• Support digital design processes, BIM coordination, and clash resolution.
• Contribute to the development of innovative, energy-efficient, and sustainable data centre solutions.
• Support business development activities and build client relationships within the rapidly growing data centre market.
