Job summary

AWS Sweden is seeking a Data Center Logistics Specialist Trainee to join our Logistics Team in Västerås as part of our Work Based Learning Program (WBLP). The three-month internship focuses on inventory, inbound shipments, and supporting build and repair activities in our data centers.

You will work with Data Center Operations Technicians and Engineers to ensure parts are available, accurate, and delivered quickly, with potential for permanent employment after the program.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• Are 18 years of age or older.
• Work 40 hours/week.
• Ability to lift items weighting up to 18kg.
• This position may require working in cramped spaces or in elevated locations while adhering to health & safety guidelines.
• Familiarity with computer hardware components and operating systems.
• Ability to manage work and priorities through a ticketing system and coordination with Manager.
• Valid EU drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and shipping parts, ensuring our Inventory management system is up to date and accurate at all times.
• Working with internal customers to fulfill part requests quickly and accurately.
• Executing stock re-balancing through transfers between locations locally and globally
• Responsible for Inventory management, regular cycle counts, customer-oriented storage space optimization, cleanliness, organization and safety of all workspace.
• Ability to travel to support other locations within commuting distance of Västerås
• This is an internship with a possibility of a permanent employment
