Job description

Be a part of operating the world's largest cloud computing infrastructure. Amazon Web Services is seeking a bright, motivated and hard working Data Center Logistics Specialist Trainee to join our Logistics Team as part of our Work Based Learning Program (WBLP). As a trainee, you will participate in our three months work and training program. This position will help ensure overall availability and reliability for our customers within our Data Centers in Sweden.

Key job responsibilities

The Logistics Specialist reviews data center inventory, in-bound shipments and ongoing demand to ensure that proper stock levels are maintained in all locations to support build and repair activities.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and shipping parts, ensuring our Inventory management system is up to date and accurate at all times.
• Working with internal customers to fulfill part requests quickly and accurately.
• Executing stock re-balancing through transfers between locations locally and globally.
• Responsible for Inventory management, regular cycle counts, customer-oriented storage space optimization, cleanliness, organization and safety of all workspace.
• Ability to travel to support other locations within commuting distance of Västerås.
• This is an internship with a possibility of a permanent employment.

Basic Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• This position may require working in cramped spaces or in elevated locations while adhering to health & safety guidelines
• Familiarity with computer hardware components and operating systems
