Job summary

Cofactor is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer in Stockholm to move from platform to working automation, one customer at a time. You will sit with customers, understand how commercial workflows happen, and encode them end-to-end on the platform until it runs in production.

You’ll work closely with buyers, category managers and supplier teams, ensuring clear communication with non-technical stakeholders and taking ownership of delivery. Travel across Europe is expected.

Qualifications

• You’re an engineer who is energised by customers.
• You can sit in a meeting with a commercial team in the morning and ship the thing they described in the afternoon.
• You communicate clearly with non-technical people, you're comfortable owning delivery, and you'd rather see your work used this week than perfected this quarter.
• Experience with retail, supply chain or other operationally heavy domains is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Take Cofactor from platform to working automation, one customer at a time.
• Forward deployed engineers sit with the customer, understand how the commercial work actually happens, and encode it on the platform — end-to-end, until it runs in production.
• Interview the people who do the work — buyers, category managers and supplier teams — and map how decisions really get made.
• Encode the use case end-to-end — workflows, agents, business rules and the surfaces people work in.
• Take an automation from kickoff to production in weeks — then stay on call for the next use case.
• Feed what you learn back into the core platform — every engagement makes the product better.
• This role is close to customers and includes travel to their offices across Europe.
