Cofactor is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer in Stockholm to move from platform to working automation, one customer at a time. You will sit with customers, understand how commercial workflows happen, and encode them end-to-end on the platform until it runs in production.
You’ll work closely with buyers, category managers and supplier teams, ensuring clear communication with non-technical stakeholders and taking ownership of delivery. Travel across Europe is expected.
We are reshaping how retailers and suppliers work together.
Today, these relationships are messy, manual, and full of friction. We're building an AI platform to make collaboration simpler, smarter, and more efficient.
We're an early-stage team in Stockholm with a lot of ambition and very little bureaucracy. We care deeply about what we're building — and about building it with smart, curious, kind people who enjoy working together.
We're building the product, the company, and the culture at the same time. There's a lot to figure out, and a lot of room to make an impact.
You’ll take Cofactor from platform to working automation, one customer at a time.
Forward deployed engineers sit with the customer, understand how the commercial work actually happens, and encode it on the platform — end-to-end, until it runs in production.
This role is close to customers and includes travel to their offices across Europe.
You’re an engineer who is energised by customers, not shielded from them.
You can sit in a meeting with a commercial team in the morning and ship the thing they described in the afternoon.
You communicate clearly with non-technical people, you're comfortable owning delivery, and you'd rather see your work used this week than perfected this quarter.
Experience with retail, supply chain or other operationally heavy domains is a plus, but not required.
Mission first. We focus on what moves the company forward.
Everyone ships. Good ideas matter. Turning them into reality matters more.
Sharp, kind, low ego. We care about doing excellent work without taking ourselves too seriously.
High trust, high ownership. We give people responsibility and expect them to run with it.
This is the shortest path from your keyboard to a customer's daily work. You'll see the whole loop: the problem, the build, and the person whose week changed because of it.
And you'll define what forward deployed engineering means at Cofactor, because you'll be the first.
