Job summary

Avarda in Borås is seeking a Core Ledger Specialist to join the platform team. You will define and document requirements for transaction processing and posting logic delivered by external suppliers, and verify their work to ensure data integrity and consistency.

You will provide hands-on internal support to colleagues, test supplier deliveries, and collaborate with QA and product management on design and decisions. English fluency required; Swedish desirable.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in financial/transaction systems in a analysis or configuration role.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping or core banking systems.
• Experience writing clear requirements and acceptance criteria for supplier-delivered systems.
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL data analysis.
• Proven ability to verify and test complex system deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Define and document detailed requirements for transaction processing and posting logic for external suppliers.
• Verify and regression test supplier deliveries to ensure data integrity across ledger operations.
• Collaborate on solution design and technical decisions with suppliers and IT leadership.
• Investigate and resolve complex ledger incidents and data discrepancies with suppliers.
• Maintain documentation including data flows, test results and runbooks.
• Support internal configuration of the core ledger platform.
• Provide hands-on internal support on ledger-related questions for finance, service, operations.
• Support integration of new products/financial instruments into the ledger framework.
• Work with QA and Delivery Manager to ensure deliveries are well tested.
