Job summary

Avarda Bank AB (publ) seeks a Core Ledger Specialist to join our platform team. You will translate business needs into clear ledger requirements, verify supplier deliveries, and support day-to-day ledger questions across the business.

You will work with a small team, including a Head of Core Ledger IT and a Product Manager, shaping the ledger platform as it grows, with hybrid work options and strong focus on data integrity.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in financial/transactional systems, in a requirements, analysis, or configuration role.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping, financial transaction processing, or core banking systems.
• Experience writing clear, detailed requirements and acceptance criteria for systems delivered by external suppliers.
• Familiarity with relational databases and ability to query and analyse data (SQL).
• Solid understanding of how to verify and test complex system deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Define and document clear, detailed requirements for transaction processing, balance management, and posting logic, to be delivered by external suppliers.
• Verify and regression test supplier deliveries to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all ledger operations.
• Collaborate with the Head of Core Ledger IT and suppliers on solution design and technical decisions.
• Investigate and resolve complex ledger-related incidents and data discrepancies, working with suppliers when needed.
• Maintain clear documentation, including requirements, data flows, test results, and runbooks.
• Support internal configuration of the core ledger platform.
• Provide hands-on internal support to other teams on day-to-day ledger questions and issues.
