Job summary

Viaplay Group in Stockholm is seeking a Content Curator & Metadata Editor, Store to shape how customers discover and engage with movies in the Viaplay Store (Rent & Buy). You will manage editorial presentation and metadata quality across Nordic markets, coordinating with content planners, local teams, studios, and partners for a seamless, commercially driven storefront.

The role

As a Content Curator & Metadata Editor, Store, you’ll play a key role in shaping how customers discover and engage with movies in the Viaplay Store (Rent & Buy). You'll be responsible for both the editorial presentation and metadata quality of our transactional video-on-demand (TVOD/EST) offering across the Nordic markets.

Working closely with content planners, local teams, studios, and other stakeholders, you'll ensure our content is presented in a commercially impactful way, optimized for discoverability and aligned with business objectives. From curating storefronts and managing metadata to coordinating promotional activities, you'll help create a seamless and engaging customer experience.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Planning, publishing and maintaining editorial collections, campaigns and content placements across the Viaplay Store
• Monitoring title and storefront performance and optimizing content exposure based on insights and commercial priorities
• Managing and maintaining high-quality metadata and ensure assets are ready and published ahead of deadlines
• Coordinating promotional activities and editorial support with internal teams and external partners
• Driving continuous improvements in metadata quality, workflows and operational processes

What we’re looking for

We understand you may feel confident ticking certain boxes more than others and that’s why we always keep an open mind in our recruitment process. But, in order to thrive in this role, we do believe you’ll have at least some experience in the following:

• Experience working with digital content, e-commerce, streaming services or other consumer-facing digital products
• Strong attention to detail and experience handling metadata, content management systems or structured content, as well as image editing tool such as Photoshop
• The ability to analyse performance data and use insights to improve content presentation and customer engagement
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and managing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• A creative and commercially curious mindset, with an interest in testing new ideas and approaches
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken

It’s a bonus if you have:

• An interest in film, entertainment and streaming products, with an understanding of consumer viewing behaviour.
• Experience working with localization across multiple markets or languages.
