Job summary

Rider Levett Bucknall Nordics AB in Stockholm is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to lead and manage vendor FAT/FWT activities, review commissioning documents and ensure sign-off on critical systems. You will supervise installation, inspect mechanical, electrical and environmental controls, and participate in safety reviews.

The role requires on-site availability, a technical degree and strong communication skills to coordinate with vendors, clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage vendor FAT/FWT with attendance as needed.
• Manage CFCI and OFCI vendors commissioning scope.
• Lead daily/weekly commissioning meetings with vendor and client.
• Draft, review and obtain approval on commissioning documents (test scripts, compliance statements).
• Ensure receipt, review and compliance of project commissioning documentation for sign-off.
• Serve as single point of contact for commissioning planning and reporting.
• Supervise installation of new equipment, systems and facilities.
• Inspect and verify functioning of electrical, mechanical and environmental control systems.
• Conduct tests to verify operational efficacy.
• Verify integrity and performance of critical systems.
• Approve final project finalization based on successful testing.
• Participate in safety reviews such as Hazops and SIL.

Responsibilities:

• Planning and management of Vendor FAT/ FWT with possible attendance if necessary.
• Management of CFCI and OFCI vendors Commissioning Scope

• Manage, deliver and obtain approval on relevant project commissioning documents such as Test Scripts, Compliance statements etc.

• Single POC for commissioning management and reporting of the planning and execution of scopes and deliverables
• Supervise the installation of new equipment, systems, and facilities.
• Inspect and verify the correct functioning of electrical, mechanical, and environmental control systems
• Testing and Verification: Conduct tests to ensure operational efficacy
• Verify the integrity and performance of critical systems.
• Approve the finalization of the project based on successful testing
• Safety and Compliance
• Participate in safety reviews such as Hazops and SIL (Safety Integrity Level)

Qualifications

• University degree, preferably with a technical background
• Proficiency in mechanical and electrical equipment and systems, Excel, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook), control systems, and SharePoint
• Familiarity with control systems for critical infrastructures
• Strong analytical, structural, and organizational abilities
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your client
• Availability for on-site work
