Job summary

IOTA GROUP in Sweden is seeking a Commissioning Engineer for Modular Data Center projects. You will deliver on-site commissioning, technical diagnostics, and root-cause analysis for LV/MV, UPS and cooling equipment, including Masterpact, NSX, inRow, and related systems.

You will evaluate installations, perform on-site adjustments, document test results, and train customers. Willingness to travel internationally up to 70% is required. Fluent English; electrical engineering degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Electrotechnical education; university degree preferred.
• 5+ years commissioning and/or field service experience.
• Experience with LV, MV, UPS and cooling products.
• Able to work independently and analyze technical challenges.
• Fluent English (B2+).
• Willingness to travel internationally ~70% of time.

Responsibilities

Job Description

The Commissioning Engineer Modular Data Center delivers professional on‑site services including commissioning, on‑site technical diagnostics, and resolution of customer issues. The role primarily supports complex and critical projects, providing advanced support with hands‑on expertise for Low‑voltage products Masterpact circuit breakers, NSX compact devices, ATS, Power & Quality meters, Low‑voltage protection relays (Micrologic), UPS Galaxy, Cooling products (InRow, Dx/InRoom, Dx/Chillers) and Medium voltage switchboards.

• Perform Startup & Commissioning on all equipment across the entire Modular Data Center ranges
• Evaluate units and system's installation & operational conditions
• Ability to perform onsite adjustments to bring the units to the best running conditions
• Be able to identify if the failure is related to a quality issue/ software issue / operation condition issue (Root cause Analysis)
• Document test results and produce site work reports
• Train Schneider Electric customers on basic operations of the equipment
• Willingness to travel internationally for 70% of the working time (and more)

Qualifications

• Electrotechnical education (University degree in an advantage)
• At least 5 years’ experience with commissioning an/or field service activities
• Confirmed experience with LV, MV, UPS and Cooling products (Schneider Electric or other brands)
• Capability to work alone, analyze technical challenges and propose resolutionsHave excellent mechanical and electrical hands‑on skills and capability to use measurements tolls
• Fluent communication in English language (B2+ level min)
