Job summary

Nimbus Group AB (publ) is seeking a Group COO to assume end-to-end responsibility for the company’s supply chain, including sourcing, procurement, production, planning and performance follow-up, across Sweden and outsourced sites in Poland and Finland.

Based at the Gothenburg headquarters, the COO will lead a 6-person team in Production, Procurement, Product Management and Planning, report to the CEO, and drive cost efficiency, delivery precision and supplier partnerships.

Qualifications

Nimbus Group is a leading manufacturer and distributor of leisure motorboats and workboats, under the brands: Nimbus, Alukin, Aquador, EdgeWater and Falcon. The company was started in Sweden 1968 with a mission to build boats crafted for a life at sea.

Nimbus Group - COO

As Group COO, you will join the company's excecutive management team, with overall responsibility for Nimbus Group's entire supply chain, including sourcing & procurement, production, product management, planning and performance follow-up.

The COO responsibility includes our factory in Sweden, our outsourced factory operations in Poland and Finland as well as all suppliers. The key KPIs for the role are product cost, product quality, delivery precision and factory as well as supplier efficiency.

At Nimbus Group we are hands-on in every role and as a COO at Nimbus you will have direct responsibility for our key suppliers and production partners, including contract management, negotiations and financial as well as operational planning and follow-up.

As COO, you report to the CEO, are part of the executive management team, and will be based at the Group's headquarter in Gothenburg. You will lead a team consisting of 6 team members within Production, Procurement, Product Management and Planning.

Background And Experience

• We believe you have been working in a mix of in-house and outsourced industrial production in a multi-site environment. Within this environment you have led sourcing and procurement as well as factory operations.
• Through your career you have built experience from different supply chains in different industries and understand how to adapt your knowledge and experience to new environments. You are strong in combining earlier experiences with new learnings and applying them effectively in the daily work to optimize supply chain performance.
• You don't shy away from the details and are experienced in negotiations, analyzing contract fulfillment, drive cost reductions and establish close partnerships with our key suppliers.
• You are used to setting and meeting targets within the wider scope of operations, including supply chain performance criteria, product cost development and factory efficiency.
• You have documented leadership skills and are comfortable to lead from the front in a hands-on environment where resources are scarce and every individual counts.
• Your education level corresponds to an MSc or BSc in a relevant area.
• You have experience from executive management and can contribute in a broad perspective to the Nimbus Group development.
